The trailer for the much-anticipated retelling of fictional chocolatier Willy Wonka’s origin story Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet, Calah Lane, Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, and Hugh Grant is finally here!
Fans are rejoicing, as expected, but did you know that the young actor playing an unnamed character (for now) alongside Timmy C’s outrageously mischievous rendition of Roald Dahl’s beloved anti-hero has been in the acting biz since she was really young?
With a small role in the TV drama This Is Us as young Laurel in 2021, Calah Lane is moving onward and upward as she is set to star in one of this year’s biggest blockbusters directed by Paul King, slated for a Christmas release.
