The internet’s ultimate duo for years has been Salama Mohamed and Khalid Al Ameri. As entrepreneurs and content creators, they’ve crushed it together and on their own.
They’ve been on our screens making us laugh for so long that fans immediately noticed when they went MIA. Naturally, fans started speculating.
It was all rumours until Khalid Al Ameri hit Instagram with a bombshell—his engagement.
He posted a black and white pic of two hands with engagement rings and the caption “Alhamdullilah” in Arabic.
Fans went wild, filling the comments with congrats and theories about his mystery fiancée. While we don’t know who she is, we have some news that Salama Mohamed has shared.
Ever since the engagement news dropped on June 25th, Salama Mohamed has been super quiet. But on Sunday June 30th, she broke her silence in an interview with Nouraldin Alyousef, and she spilt some shocking details.
During the chat, Nouraldin asked if she and Khalid were separated or divorced, and Salama straight-up said, “divorced.”
Not only did she confirm her split with Khalid Al Ameri, but she also dropped a heartbreaking detail about it.
When asked about the safest she ever felt in her life, she said it was on February 14, 2024. Yup, Valentine’s Day. And when pushed on what happened that day, she revealed, “The day I got divorced.”
Salama shared that sometimes “divorce is merciful.” She added, “I was reborn that day.”
Salama also opened up about her feelings towards Khalid. “There are some people I can’t forgive, but with my previous partner, he is the father of my kids. There will always be a connection,” she told Nouraldin.
