On his career and passions
Although Michael Davis may have only recently come into your orbit, he’s pretty well-known in the UAE. His job is *major* and so is his social life.
“I am the CEO of NMC Healthcare, the largest private provider of healthcare in the Middle East. We employ 12,000 people in the UAE and Oman. The company owns and operates 65 healthcare facilities in the UAE including eight multi-specialty hospitals.”

“Of interest to Cosmo ME readers may be that we have the CosmeSurge brand of clinics with 19 cosmetic and aesthetic surgery centers, as well as the Fakih IVF centers performing over 5,000 embryo transfers per year. While corporate healthcare is my passion, I also enjoy fashion, beauty, and travel, and have many other varied interests outside of those that a typical corporate executive might gravitate toward.”
On his Texan origins
Michael isn’t originally from Dubai and he’s not British like his bestie, either. “I’m from the USA, Houston, TX. I’ve lived here in the UAE for almost 10 years. I moved here to work in private equity and was the CEO of a long-term care business which we sold to NMC Healthcare seven years ago.”

On his favourite spots in Dubai
Looking to get a selfie Michael on your next night out? You’ll be playing your cards right if you hit up the hottest restaurants. Michael can often be spotted at the seen-and-be-seen venues, but he does also play it low-key from time to time.
“I love everything about the UAE. You might find me eating South Indian food at Calicut Notebook, having dinner at Gaia or any of the DIFC haunts, of course, The Arts Club, or taking a meeting at Tasha’s in the Galleria.”

“I live in Dubai but my office is in Abu Dhabi. Also, we have a strong presence in Sharjah and facilities in all seven emirates, so I feel like I get all of the best parts of the UAE.”
On how he met Caroline Stanbury
We were wondering what exactly are the origins of the friendship between Michael Davis and the Bravo star. “On our very first meeting four years ago. Someone connected us for coffee because we were looking for someone to be the face of CosmeSurge. I wanted a baddie. Our CosmeSurge brand is not “you’re ugly come to us to be pretty.”

Our CosmeSurge client is confident, successful, and knows who she (or he) is, but are always looking for ways to take care of themselves. That was Caroline. What was to be a 30-minute coffee turned into two hours. I think we’ve spoken every day since.”

His take of The Real Housewives of Dubai
“I am so happy for Caroline, Nina, and the other girls that The Real Housewives of Dubai is coming out. I’m excited for the world to see more of the Caroline I know. Crazy, fun, loyal, driven, no nonsense, and never backs down from fighting for her values. Love her or not, people won’t be able to look away.” We. Can’t. Wait.

Looks like Michael’s going to be an instant fan favourite.
