After the release of Driver’s License Olivia Rodrigo basically became every girl’s ~spokesperson~ as she sang the words we felt. Though we have to say, being Joshua Bassett (aka the guy who commits the crime) was probably really awkward for a while. Can’t imagine the side-eye he got. Oof.
Well, just when the world was *finally* recovering from living through our adolescent love-induced trauma, Olivia dropped a *fire* track once again to remind us all how broken we are. Jk. Kinda…?
Olivia’s latest single ‘deja vu‘ came after she dropped breadcrumbs on her Insta in the form of little teaser videos. Talk about taking a cue from your role model! Following ~effortlessly~ in her idol, T-Swift‘s steps, she recently also deleted all the posts from her feed.Â
deja vu is (assumably) all about her ex who seems to be doing everything they did together–including trading jackets and eating strawberry ice cream with one spoon (oddly specific, no?)–with his new girl. I’m not crazy, right? This sounds like a certain love triangle involving Olivia.Â
While I still don’t know whose side I’m on (Sabrina Carpenter is not at fault here, fight me), I can’t deny this song is a *banger* and will be on loop all day long for the foreseeable future.
And Twitter seems to think so too.

Also, major brownie points for how incredible her music video is. So much talent at just 18, ugh, we have no choice but to stan.
Go watch deja vu and drown in your feels. We know we are.
