Nour Ardakani is the latest addition to global dominating group Now United and she is absolutely killing it! Nour, from Beirut, has taken a starring role in their latest single. Called Habibi, the single is the first track to be released since Nour joined the group.

Habibi is an ‘instantly uplifting slice of pop gold’, and it was recorded right here in Dubai! The lead vocals are sung by Nour in both Arabic and English. Beautifully, we might add!

Nour was picked from thousands of young talented individuals from across the Middle East for the place in Now United, and the opportunity to represent her region in such a global space. Since becoming the 16th member of the gang, Nour told Cosmopolitan Middle East in an exclusive interview, “it’s such an honour and it’s amazing to be able to represent the Middle East, especially Lebanon”.

The Now United gang have been living it up in Dubai for the last few weeks, exploring the Middle East and making amazing music here. Their latest track, Habibi, is a ‘Middle Eastern inspired dance cut set to a hypnotizing rhythm with a signature riff played into the oud, a beautiful stringed instrument of traditional Arab origin’. The song was written by Grammy nominated Emile Ghantous, Keith Hetrick, Meron Mengist and Jordan Orvosh, and was produced by Ghantous and Jordan Orvosh.
