Have you seen it? We all saw that IG reel and TikTok of Love Is Bind, Habibi stars Simo Nasrollah and Yasmin hugging, right?
It seems that after a whole load of fiasco in the reunion episode, with Yasmin seemingly fed up with Simo after watching the show, the pair has officially reconciled.
But this did break the internet into chaos when they literally published two identical videos and captioned it as, “No caption needed.” What could this mean??
Well, while many have already made theories of the duo reconciling and deciding they’re dating, Simo’s recent appearance on Hikmat Wehbi’s podcast had everyone looking back at their interactions in the pods.
When Hikmat asked if he liked her, he candidly said, “I did, once.”
Simo then reverted back to the series which caused him to reflect on himself and Yasmin.
He said: “When I watched Love Is Blind, Habibi, and I saw her crying, I didn’t like it at all.”
Even saying that in the entire experience of being in the pods and out, seeing Yasmin cry made him feel regretful. “In the experience, that was the only bad thing that I didn’t like about myself.”
This led us to the moment with Simo explaining why he sent an apology to Yasmin in the first place. “I directly called my team and said ‘Find me Yasmin’s Instagram, I want it now’, and then sent her an apology.” He even relayed the text message to Hikmat.
Expressing his guilt for making Yasmin cry in the series, he quipped, “I couldn’t respect myself after that. My parents educated me, so seeing a woman crying? I didn’t like it.”
But in a shocking turn, as we all watched, Yasmin sent it to the crew and relayed her response there.
After reminiscing on the reunion fiasco, he further explained that Yasmin is a sweet person and should be invited to the Podcast.
All in all, there’s one thing everyone’s sure about: while they may not be dating, they have reconciled and moved on from the past and we love that!
