Lizzo certainly has zero time for trolls (or negativity of any kind, actually) and knows how to construct the perfect clapback. This is a gal that always speaks her mind, whether it be about politics, racism or body shaming.
Her latest video is addressing just that, body shaming.
Lizzo took to TikTok to share her thoughts on her own image and work out routines, not that she has to explain herself, and question why body-shamers think that it is something that they have the right to comment on.
“I’ve been working out consistently for the past five years and it may come as a surprise to some of y’all that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type, I’m working out to have my ideal body type” Lizzo says in the video, which is set to a compilation of her workouts.
She asked: “And you know what type that is?”
She answered: “None of your ******* business. Because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job”.
“Because health is not just determined about what you look like on the outside. Health is also what happens on the inside and y’all need to do a ******* cleanse to your insides”, she continues, to videos of her skipping with a rope, using weights and an exercise bike.

This isn’t the first time Lizzo has used Tiktok to express her body positivity thoughts recently, she also shared a video detailing her reaction to people who comment her name on pictures of other girls: “You know what, if every time you see a big girl on this app, loving on herself and putting herself out there and being confident and loving her body, you think of me? Or you think she looks like me? ***** that is a what? Compliment”.
