Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter on Friday (29 October) to reveal she and her 3-year-old daughter, True Thompson, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Speaking to her 29.5 million followers on the social media platform, the 37-year-old said “Hi guys I wanted to let you know True and I tested positive for COVID.”
She continued: “I’ve had to cancel several commitments and I’m sorry I won’t be able to make those happen. Luckily I have been vaccinated so all will be ok. We will be over here in quarantine and following current guidelines.”
Khloe later shared another tweet that said, “Be safe everyone!” along with a heart emoji.

But, it’s not the first time the Good American founder has tested positive for the virus. Last year, towards the start of the pandemic, Khloe revealed she’d had to quarantine away from her daughter after contracting the virus.
And last month, more than a year on from initially testing positive, the reality star opened up about the long-term symptoms of the virus that she’s still been dealing with. Speaking in a public Twitter chat about her experience with coronavirus in March 2020, Khloe said: “My hair really fell out with COVID.”
“It was really a struggle,” she said of the hair loss, before pointing out that her sense of smell and taste were “the only things” she “didn’t lose.” The 37-year-old added, “I had everything else — like anything else you can imagine.”
To combat the hair loss she experienced, Khloe explained that using collagen powder “helped so much.”
“I do the powder,” she said, “and I take so many vitamins a day.”
Her first bout of COVID-19 played out on the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where she opened up about how difficult it had been to be separated from True while she quarantined. Speaking about the experience, she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October 2020: “I don’t care about how beautiful of a place you have, being taken away from your child — because I couldn’t be around my daughter … is the hardest part.”
Wishing Khloe and True a speedy recovery!
