Just months into the year, the South Korean singer and rapper made her much-awaited debut at the Met Gala where she stunned in Vintage 1990 Chanel. Her girl group BLACKPINK also made history during their mind-blowing performance at Coachella. Totally cazsh. But the 27-year-old powerhouse has MORE things in store for us BLINKs, if you can believe it.

So… will BLACKPINK’s Jennie be at the Cannes Film Festival?

According to ~whispers~ on social media, Jennie is allegedly coordinating her schedule to make her first appearance at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. This isn’t a total surprise ’cause we know she is going to be starring in Sam Levinson’s next star-studded television series — The Idol — starring The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, and more.

Last month, Cannes delegate Thierry Frémaux confirmed that the HBO drama will be premiering out of Competition at the historic film festival, as per Deadline. So, it totally makes sense that the musician will be there, yeah? Yeah.

This is not the first time Jennie’s presence at the 76th Cannes Film Festival has been making the news. Right after the festival lineup was announced, Allkpop reported that the Solo singer received an invitation to the prestigious event.
