Taylor Swift may be working on some music RN. Let’s take a moment to breathe before we *totally* freak out.

Not very long after announcing the re-release of Speak Now, her third-ever studio album that was originally released in 2010, Taylor might be cooking something else for us in the studio. The award-winning musician is currently on her The Eras Tour where she’s playing shows that take the audience through each one of her albums released during her illustrious career.

As she’s traveling across the United States alongside a group of opening artists including Phoebe Bridgers, MUNA, girl in red, and more, Taylor is also grabbing headlines because of her rumoured ~relationship~ with Matty Healy of The 1975 after her recent break-up with long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Is Taylor Swift working on new music?

This past week, Taylor and her entourage have been spotted at Electric Lady Studios in New York City multiple times. Initially, there were claims that Taylor was only there for a party with Matty, Gracie Abrams, Jack Antonoff (who is a co-writer and producer of many of our favourite TS songs FYI), Florence Welch, and others. More recently, she was seen exiting the studio — outside of which a large number of fans waited to catch a glimpse of her.

Swifties are theorizing that Taylor might be re-recording some of her albums, possibly 1989 (Taylor’s Version). For now, we can only hope that this is true 🙏 but keep an eye out for any announcements re: new music by Taylor Swift.
