Yesterday, Disney+ announced that Meghan Markle will be narrating their new Disnature documentary, Elephant. This marks Meghan’s first non-royal royal since stepping down as a senior member of the royal family. You can imagine such role would come with a nice pricey pay cheque, right? Wrong.

Desptire Disney being worth an astounding $130 billion, in true Meghan Marke form, the Duchess of Sussex has asked not to be paid for her work on the movie, and instead, her and Harry are contributing to a donation to Elephants Without Borders, a conservationist group that focuses on protecting elephants from poachers.

Meghan apparently recorded the voiceover shortly before she jetted off to Canada to spend Christmas with Harry and baby Archie, about seven months ago.

The film follows an elephant family’s “extraordinary 1,000 mile journey across Africa on an adventure that will change their lives.”

It will air just three days after Harry and Meghan’s royal titles are officially removed.
