Ah what a month it’s been in celebrity tattoo land. Well, more specifically, for Justin and Hailey Bieber. Earlier this month, Justin revealed a new neck tatt that, the internet was convinced, contained a hidden ‘S’ for the singer’s ex, Selena Gomez. And just yesterday, Hailey Bieber debuted a fresh tattoo on her ring finger to celebrate the couple’s wedding anniversary. But fans have suggested that Hailey’s latest ink might also have a connection to Selena – which, tbh, sounds unlikely but hey, here we are!
In case you missed it, here are Hailey’s new tatts, including the letter ‘J’ (for Justin) on her wedding ring finger and the word ‘beleza’, which means ‘beauty’ in Portuguese, in cursive font on her neck:
While comments have now been turned off for the post, Page Six reports that fans took to the comments section to draw parallels between the new ink and Selena:
“she got the same tattoo as the ring that Justin gave to Selena”
“That’s the same font that Selena’s J ring had lol”
For context, back in 2012, Selena was spotted in Paris wearing a ring on her right hand. The ring itself was a simple silver design featuring a ‘J’ in cursive font, and was believed to be a Valentine’s Day gift from Justin to Selena while the pair were dating. At the time, Selena shared a (now-deleted) photo of the ring on Instagram with the caption “I’m finally home”.
And, well, you be the judge. Do you see a similarity between the two?

Errrr, yeah, I guess I can see what they’re getting at. The tattoo and ring both seem to share a ‘J’ written in a romantic font. Mmmm we’re not too sure what’s going on here… I can’t imagine Hailey would deliberately get some new ink that reminds JB of his ex. Maybe they both have such similar taste that it’s a coincidence? Or perhaps the 2012 ring was so long ago that it’s ancient history? Who knows.
