Carmen Soliman will be singing an Arabic cover of Rocket to the Moon, the lead song of the upcoming animated Netflix movie Over the Moon.

(we are not screaming, you are!)

The famous Egyptian singer has been our favourite since she won the first Arab Idol in 2012. Her last song (لينا رقصة) made such a huge success reaching the top Arabic hits on Spotify and 3 million views on YouTube. The fact that we will hear her touching, amazing voice on one of Netflix’s movies…I’ll let you process this.

The song will be released this Friday, September 25th. However, Over the Moon will be released on October 23rd, and it will be available in both English and Arabic.

“I am thrilled to work with Netflix on this new project, representing Egypt and the MENA region. We’re currently witnessing great interest from Netflix to produce and avail Egyptian and Arabic dubbed content suitable for family viewing. I have always been eager to participate in a special movie like “Over The Moon” by legendary animation creator “Glen Keane.” I can’t wait to watch this movie with my family and enjoy Fei Fei’s exciting journey to accomplish the impossible,” said Carmen.

On a side note, we can’t wait for the first-ever Egyptian series Paranormal that will be on Netflix soon. Check out everything from the date of release, cast, and their first look.
