This couple has been making headlines ever since the news of the two being together broke. Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s relationship timeline is *loooong*, and while we’re all trying to catch our breaths over their cutest IG posts of the two gushing over each other, we want to look back and reminisce on their journey through all these years.

We had no clue about this at the time but it was only in December 2018 during an interview, Nick revealed that he *sneakily* sent a DM to Priyanka on September 8, 2016 (while the only ones that slide in my DMs are bots.)
He texted saying, “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet.”, with her responding, “My team can read this. Why don’t you just text me.”
They continued to text for a long time but it was only at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty that they met IRL. Ngl we thought it was the Met Gala.

So, what happened at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty? Nick revealed in an interview that when he first saw Priyanka enter the room, he *actually* went down on one knee amidst the crowd to say, “you’re real. Where have you been all my life?”

Here comes the Met Gala in 2017 where Ralph Lauren called in the two to wear his label at the event. Just a few weeks before the event, Nick and Priyanka went out for a drink and also spent some time at her apartment.
And, we all remember the internet meltdown that happened after the two walked the Met Gala red carpet together, don’t we?

Joe Jonas revealed in Vogue that after the event, Nick was “kind of knocked off his feet. He was just this little puppy dog.”
However, on Watch What Happens Live, Priyanka said that the two were just friends.

Fast forward a year later when Us Weekly revealed that the two were officially dating. “They are dating and it’s brand new,” a source said. “It’s a good match and they are both interested in each other.”

Then, we see some flirty IG comments with Nick commenting, “That smile ❤️” on Priyanka’s Instagram post at In-N-Out.
Priyanka too commented on Nick’s koala bear post with, “Who is cuter?”
They then made their official public appearance as a couple at John F. Kennedy International Airport and she attended his cousin Rachel Tamburelli’s wedding as his date.
“It’s a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin’s wedding,” an insider told People. “He’s dated a lot over the last couple of years but it’s never been anything serious, so this is a big step.” The source added, “Nick and Priyanka really like each other, and his family enjoyed getting to know her as well. She’ll fit right in!”
They also flew to India to attend a pre-engagement party by businessman Akash Ambani.

Priyanka celebrated her 36th birthday with Nick in London where he proposed to the Quantico star.
Believe it or not, Nick shut down a Tiffany & Co. store to select an engagement ring for his beau. “I got down on one knee, again, and I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me? No joke—she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence.” After that, he told Priyanka, “I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections.” How cute!
Priyanka mentioned to Elle UK later in Feb 2021 that, “I didn’t expect the proposal at that point…It was two months. I thought it would happen, but it was still a complete shock. [But] I relinquished control and I just went with it. We were just sporadically meeting for about two years”, the actress said. “We were texting and stuff, and there may have been a part of me that wanted something serious. But I was taking a hiatus from guys at that point. I didn’t want anyone romantically.
But there’s always been something about Nick, which is why we always ended up staying in touch, no matter where we were. The two made a pit stop in India to attend a charity sports event. Priyanka shared a snipped from the game with the caption, “Bae in Bombae.”
The soon-to-be bride hosted a bachelorette party at NYC’s Tiffany & Co’s Blue Box Cafe. How gorgeous are the photos? *heart eyes*

The duo got married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The couple shared a series of photos from the Christian and Hindu ceremonies on IG with Priyanka adding the caption, “And forever starts now… ❤️ @nickjonas.” while Nick’s caption read, “Happiest day of my life. @priyankachopra.”
She wore a custom Ralph Lauren bridal gown and a red Sabyasachi-designed lehenga.
They also shared images from the Mehendi – a pre-wedding celebration – with the caption, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.”

Obv, the single was a complete hit. And, when it topped the charts, Nick surprised his wife with a Maybach to kickstart the celebration.
Priyanka also attended her first-ever Jonas Brothers concert. She shared an IG post of her standing alongside Nick, Joe, and Kevin.

This week, Priyanka changed her IG name from ‘Priyanka Chopra-Jonas’ to just ‘Priyanka.’ and rumours started bubbling that the two have parted ways. However, Priyanka shut down those rumours (phew) by commenting on her hubby’s recent post, “Damn! I just died in your arms…😍🥵❤️”
