It’s safe to say that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas broke the internet (rightfully so) with the news of the birth of their first child via surrogacy. We’re guessing Priyanka’s joke on Netflix’s Jonas Brothers Family Roast of the pair ‘expecting’ wasn’t too far off from reality.
According to TMZ, the pair have named their child Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Although there’s no news on their decision to choose the name, Malti in Sanskrit refers to a small fragrant flower or moonlight. How cute is this?
The couple earlier shared the birth of their child on January 22 via Instagram saying, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
