Our ladies are slowly taking over Milan Fashion Week, one step at a time (literally.) Elisabetta Franchi’s show took us by surprise when Annabella Hilal, a Lebanese presenter on MBC 1, opened the show. The Middle Eastern little girl in me immediately ~fangirled~, especially when Arab women are getting the recognition they deserve.
These are 4 Arab women who walked Milan Fashion Week’s runway
The show was a major hit, with Alanoud Badr gushing over it on Instagram. The beauty captioned a behind-the-scenes video of the rehearsals: “I still can’t believe I walked the runway of @elisabettafranchi for Milan Fashion week 🙌🏼 what an insane experience. Super grateful and thankful to the people behind such an amazing production. Love you loads xoxo.”
The show also included Iraqi influencer and fashionista, Deema Alasadi. Deema wore a sequined black dress that was paired with a signature red-coloured lipstick that made her outfit pop even more.
And to top off the show, fashion model Zeynab El-Helw turned heads when she walked in wearing a pink sequined dress.
We love to see it!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
