She’s a 00s kid
She was born in Casablanca, Morocco on July 5, 2000. Any 00s kids here? Just me? Okay.
She’s a Cancer
If we haven’t fangirled enough about this already, we’re saying it again. SHE’S A CANCER QUEEN.
She grew up in Canada
She moved from Morocco to Canada at the age of one and lived in Manitoba and later shifted to the rural town Carman. “I feel very lucky to have experienced two different cultures,” said the 21-year-old in our Cosmo ME interview. “My family and I stay very connected to our roots even after we moved away.”
Her net worth is *huge*
According to Net Worth Spot, her net worth stands at an estimated $1.38 million (Dhs5 million.) and it’s definitely not going to stop there.
She’s always loved music
In an interview, she mentioned how she always knew what she wanted to do and how music has always played a huge role. “I was that annoying kid 24/7 and growing up I was just so passionate about music. I wanted to really take advantage of learning as many instruments as I could,” said the singer. “I started taking piano lessons, violin lessons, and guitar lessons.”
She also wrote her first song at the age of six (cajj) where she mentioned to Cosmo ME in her cover story interview that it was written entirely in French.
She speaks three languages
She’s trilingual and can speak fluently in Arabic, French, and English. Is there something she can’t do? Not that we know of.
Her sister is also her manager
In an interview in 2020, she revealed how her sister has also been into music but no longer performs and is instead her manager. Sister goals right there.
“We were a duo and would perform at small festivals and small towns. Eventually, she had to move away from university and she loves music but she realized she loved the management side a lot more,” the songstress said. “And, it just naturally progressed into me becoming a solo artist and her taking the reigns with management until now I’m being managed by her and Tim Jones.”
She’s collaborated with some well-known names in the biz
She’s worked with a huge list of famous faces but to name a few: David Guetta, Kelly Clarkson, Charlie Puth, and John Legend.
She’d love to collaborate with…
Our cover star dreams big and has high hopes of collaborating with Ariana Grande, Sia, and Beyonce. BRB, *manifesting* this to happen.
Her music inspiration is Brendon Urie
Lead singer of the popular band Panic! at the Disco is her main inspiration in the music industry alongside which she also named Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Eminem. Like our cover star says herself, “powerful lyrics and powerful vocals,” is the way to her (and our) hearts.
