Alicia Keys, if you don’t already know, is a 15-time Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter/producer who’s famous for hits such as No One and Girl On Fire, as well as a coach on the hit American TV show, The Voice.
Keys took to Instagram to share some beautiful shots of her and her family exploring the desert lands of Egypt. “I’ve been waiting for this moment forever”, she mentions in one of the posts.
Who would’ve known this American songstress to possess such a strong affection towards the historical goldmine that is Egypt? It appears that visiting this sandy country has uplifted Keys’ spirits and she shares her words of empowerment to her followers in this post.
“Greatness is in our DNA! Genius runs through our veins!” she states in her caption. I don’t know about you guys but this is the best pep talk that I’ve ever received from an Instagram caption ever!
She was accompanied on this insightful visit with her gorgeous family, as we see here her adorable children playing with the “sands of time”.
Not forgetting her talented DJ/producer hubby, Swizz Beatz, she posted this heart-warming picture of the couple, while simultaneously educating us on the traditional way to address the Egyptian sphinx.
