Blake Lively got ripped eight months after giving birth to her first child, since she was due on set for The Shallows, which is basically 87 minutes of Blake in a bikini.
But she now says she kinda regrets being so “vain” as she puts it, and wishes she had the courage to “walk around with cellulite”.
“The struggle is that I am doing a movie in a bikini eight months after having a baby and there is a level of insecurity and vanity that comes with that,” she told News.com.au.
“You don’t want to be the person in the magazines that they are saying ‘ugh, look at her’ rather than ‘wow, look at her’.

“That’s a shame because there shouldn’t be that negative ‘ugh’ after someone has a baby. Your body is so beautiful. You couldn’t walk a Victoria’s Secret runway but it’s beautiful in a completely different and incredible way and I do wish I had the bravery to go out there and represent women as they actually look.”
It’s a good point, because it’s easy to criticise celebrities for being so image-obsessed, but then we’d totally want to look shit-hot if our bodies were going to be captured on film forever and seen by millions of people on a giant screen.
Blake’s not perfect, but she’s honest, and that’s why we love her more every single day.
