The Dubai-based makeup artist and influencer @itsara.ae never fails to stun us with her unique makeup looks. So it’s not a shocker of welcoming her to Cosmotel to host a beauty masterclass for everyone to take some notes from the pro herself. P.S. She’s also got some cool tips and tricks under her sleeve and we’re *finally* getting them.

Joining the masterclass was her bestie and TikToker Sasha Afsh, so wait up until you finally get to see the look she created on Sasha.

@itsara.ae beauty masterclass at Cosmotel

If you’re bored of your everyday look, this beauty masterclass is just for you. Literally the *most* creative makeup artist dropped by to share how to turn your usual routine into something much more ~interesting~.

She first starts off with Charlotte’s Magic Cream (don’t we all just love this?) as a base followed up by another Charlotte Tilbury product, the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, as a tinted primer to get that *glowy* look.

Off to foundation, she goes for the newly-launched Beautiful Skin Foundation by Charlotte Tilbury for a natural and light makeup look. She then applies a colour corrector and uses a bit of a darker concealer shade for extra coverage under the eye. Sara recommends the Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer by Too Faced because it’s non-cakey and full coverage.

Wondering how to actually apply concealer? Sara says, “Everyone has their own way with makeup and there aren’t specific rules but I’d personally prefer to go with the darker and then the lighter just to give it like the full highlight effect.” And, that’s exactly how she did the look for the masterclass. Believe us, it was *chef’s kiss*.

Sara recommends using Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer in a lighter shade around any areas where you have hyperpigmentation to even out the skin. Wait for the product under the eye to dry up a little (to avoid cakiness) but until then, you can blend out the other areas.. P.S. Don’t be shy, apply a generous amount of concealer. Pro tip: If you have dry skin type then use more cream products and vice-versa.

Before setting the face, you want to make sure that there are no creases. Then, take a dry beauty blender to apply the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder onto the face.

While applying blush, Sara doesn’t apply it straight to the face but takes a brush and lightly applies it around the cheek and nose (sun-kissed look is what we stan.)

She *highly* recommends the On The Run Face & Eye Palette by Wow Beauty Forward and applies another blush shade to have a bit more of a long-lasting effect. She then takes the bronzer shade to brush it across the face.

Onto some ~spicy~ makeup details, Sara uses gems just below the eyes (Euphoria has entered the chat) and a bright pink shade from the Mac eyeshadow palette to apply around the eye lids.

Later, she moves onto eye lash extensions and mascara. For applying lashes, her advice for beginners is to add the glue onto the extensions instead of directly adding it to our lashes. She literally made it look so easy, you have no idea.

Final step: Lipstick. She goes for a nude lip look (created from a mix of lipsticks so you can obv pick your fav) and overlines the lips just a liittle bit using a lip liner. Now, she takes a concealer to lighten up the lip colour and blends the product onto the lips. What. a. beauty. hack.
