Hello, You.

Joe Goldberg is returning to murder some more, but this is his last hurrah on the series’ final season. *sighs in disappointment*

The Netflix series is available to stream from seasons 1-4 if you’re looking for a show to binge-watch this summer when you have no plans but to rot in bed.

The final season is prepping for a new cast and set, and we are here to spill all the deets!

What will You season 5 be about?

So what’s really new? Joe skipped town AGAIN after having another murder spree; however, this time, he’s going back to his roots, as we saw in season 1, New York City.

Also, last season, we saw Kate cleaning up and doing some damage control after Joe committed a heinous crime and portrayed him as the hero to the media, thanks to her PR team.

Idk if y’all remember Rhys, who popped back up in the final scene of the last season? Yep, he’s not letting Joe catch a break from his crimes this time, and Joe got himself a bookstore this season, too.

The creator of the series, Sera Gamble, said that Joe’s newfound fame will make things complicated this time to keep doing what he’s been doing. Killing people left, right, and center, ofc lol.

Apparently, the ending of the series is going to be explosive for Joe. OOP.

Who’s in the cast for You season 5?

Besides Penn Badgley, who plays the notorious serial killer, the series tends to bring a new, fresh set of faces. Netflix has officially announced that Zach Cherry will play Ethan, who works for Joe’s bookstore. His old neighbor Paco (Luca Padovan) and Charlotte Ritchie (Kate), who ends up with Joe at the end of season 4, are coming back.

We are also defo seeing Madeline Brewer from The Handmaid’s Tale gracing our screens soon this year at You. She will be playing as Bronte, an employee at Joe’s bookstore.

Another addition to the cast will be Anna Camp and Teddy Lockwood, as Netflix announced earlier this year on X (previously named Twitter).
