After the first season of Love Is Blind Habibi was a total hit, we have been pretty sure that Netflix will be announcing a sequel.
And despite no launch date being shared or confirmation from the streaming giant on Season 2, we know for a fact that the casting crew is already on the hunt for people to take part.
How do we know this, you ask? Well, one of us, a member of the Cosmo team, was recently approached by the casting crew.
Yep, you read that right…a member of the casting team slid into her DMs to see if she was looking for love.
The casting team sent her a link to LIBH with a message reading: “We’re excited to announce a new season of our latest marriage matchmaking reality series that will be released on a leading international streaming platform.
“This unique social experiment will gather diverse, career-driven singles from various Arab nationalities ready to find their future spouse.
“Interested in learning more?”.
The message came from a rep from IMAGIC Group and according to its website it is the leading Content creator and producer in the Arab world.
On the about us section of its website it says: “Operating in the Gulf and the MENA region, IMAGIC Group covers all aspects of Scripted and Unscripted TV production, Digital Content, and Event management, from concept development to final delivery.”
Sadly, our team member won’t be part of Love is Blind Habibi Season 2, but that just means there’s more room for all you girlies out there who are dying to find true love.
So, seems like they’re looking for those keen right now, so make sure you’re visible and don’t forget to check your DMs every day.
