It’s a new month and a new wave is hitting the Middle East’s music scene Little Pink Book and SceneNoise, two of the region’s loudest advocates for music culture and representation, have officially launched the first edition of the MENA Women in Music Mentorship Scheme: a six-month program designed to educate and elevate women who are either working in, or dreaming of entering the music industry.

The duo is back, this time, bigger and better, after their sold-out Women in Music event in Cairo earlier this year. The new mentorship program works by selecting 10 women from across the region, pairing them with experienced mentors from across all corners of the industry, choosing from a range of artists and producers, label execs, promoters, and cultural curators, as per their needs and career goals

The aim is to provide not just loose mentorship, but real-world guidance and grounded advice that can help these lucky women turn their passion into a profession.

Inside the program

Over the course of six months, participants will dive into:

  • Monthly one-on-one mentorship calls with their assigned mentor for personalised advice, honest feedback, and career strategy tailored to your journey.
  • A private WhatsApp community for all mentees designed to connect women across the region in one safe, supportive space.
  • Three group sessions led by Roberta Hickey, founder of Little Pink Book, bring together all participants for workshops packed with insider insights, confidence-building exercises, and creative inspiration.

How to get involved

Applications for both mentors and mentees are officially open and will close on December 31, 2025. The program kicks off on February 1, 2026.

Whether you’re an emerging artist trying to find your sound, a producer ready to take the next step, or simply someone who believes in reshaping the industry, this mentorship scheme is your invitation into the world of your dreams!
