Hey girl, we know you need some fruitful and spicy Arab jams to add to your playlist because, from the looks of it, it’s disappointing,

We get that it could be overwhelming to find new music to like and sing along to with your besties while cruising around Jumeirah with no specific destination. Still, the goal is to listen to songs that feed the soul and make you sing your heart out to the point where you’re maladaptive daydreaming about your performance at the Coca-Cola Arena.

Beware of crashing your car, we don’t condone this type of behavior lol.

If you’re feeling meh about your playlist, do not worry, girl. We’ve compiled a list of songs by iconic, groundbreaking Arab artists that you need to be on the lookout for.

Bali by Zeyne

This song is dedicated to everything that has been going on around the world, especially in Gaza. The Palestinian artist shares her vulnerability, and her vocals are outstandingly beautiful. In one of her IG posts, she recently shared: “It has been really difficult to express one’s self given all the circumstances that have been happening in the world around us.”

“This all left me a little lost in the world, questioning everything, even myself, when I look in the mirror.”

As Zeyne has said coherently, it’s a song to listen to when you can’t find words to express how you’re feeling about the state of the world.

Cocktail Ghena’y by TUL8TE

This album is just too GOOD.

TUL8TE has taken up a storm in the Egyptian rap industry. He is a masked rapper, and nobody knows his identity, which has sparked some controversy and conspiracy theories about who he may be.

Expect all the retro vibes on this record, as well as experimentation and genre-bending, where songs merge elements of two or more genres both lyrically and sonically.

We can’t stop staring at the cover art; it’s so pretty and pink. It gives a strawberry milkshake but makes it cool AF.

ATTA3 by Lella Fadda and Abu Yusif

The collab of the century that we did not expect.

This song is just pure passion, more energy, and overall perf for your summer playlist. The Egyptian duo have officially made our summer with this drop.

Kisses by Marcelina

Our Lebanese queen has made it through the top and in our hearts because Kisses is the deep house typa music we didn’t know we needed.

This song is giving Arca; her vocals are so Tove Lo and club-coded, and we seriously can’t get enough of it.

Plus, she gained a lot of inspiration from the icon, breathing legend, and everyone’s favourite singer, Elissa’s Aayshalak, in this song.

Neshar Belel by Bayou

So we pretty much have the snippet of the song on repeat, but when will the man of the hour drop it? We really don’t know, but we need it now.

BRB, we will be speaking to Bayou’s team to hurry up and drop it like rn.

So, this song is a love story, and it looks like he saw an angel from the sky who fell from heaven to come down to him on this earth to be his soulmate. This song is for the girlies who have been crushing hard on their dream man for about two days.

But in the meantime, listen to his other latest single, Haifa Wehbe, which was released not too long ago.

Waterfall by Casa Vince

So how did we miss this?!

Palestinian-Emirati artist Casa Vince dropped Waterfall not too long ago. This song is for girlies who are in love or just going through the ups and downs of a relationship.

This man def got us in our feels this summer.

Hesitate by Zeina, featuring Sarz

Lebanese-Egyptian artist Zeina collaborated with Nigerian producer Sarz for Hesitate, and it is included in Zeina’s debut album Eastend Confessions, the deluxe version. This is a different sound to her than what we usually expect because our girl is an RnB queen at heart, but we love that she is trying out new things.

This track just feels so effortless and fun for Zeina as an artist and we approve.
