Another day, another piece of Love Island gossip, but this time it's straight from the voiceover’s mouth.
While we can only dream what it's like get a free holiday to Cape Town, sleep in a luxury villa and not have to cook or fend for ourselves. The Love Island contestants are living that exact life, including having hair and makeup artists at their beck and call...
Yep, you heard.
If you ever wondered how they manage to look so flawless with such little notice before their big date, or how they just rustle up photo worthy hair for a night around the fire pit, brace yourself because...
We hate to break it to you, but apparently they do all have glam squads at their disposal, ready and waiting to intervene.
In an interview with Vice, the voiceover of the show Iain Stirling claimed there is "more professional support with hair and beauty now." Before adding, "if you jump on ITVHub and watch the early series, by the end they all look quite scruffy – now they don't".
Charming Iain, just charming.
Not only that, but our favourite voiceover also gave away that the villa is basically a booze free zone. After all, there are cameras everywhere...
He described producing the show as a frankly exhausting 24-hour operation, with day and night crews. Camera teams not only film every date and every challenge, but also everything that goes on inside the villa.
So maybe it's for the best they've held back on the WKDs.
Iain also pointed out that with the increasing level of fame of the show, islanders have become more and more glamorous with every series. A real departure since series two, when Kady McDermott revealed she only got her nails done once during her six week stint.
It’s a hard life.
So now we finally know the answer to those secret blow-dry and nail appointment rumours which have been floating round since we all noticed Dani Dyer’s fresh hair colour in series four.
Maybe Iain should get his own detective show...
