Channing Tatum and Jessie J have officially broken up after dating for just over a year. The pair were first spotted together in 2018 when rumours started swirling that Channing had moved on from Jenna Dewan in September 2018. They split last year before Christmas, and reunited in January 2020, but they broke our hearts again when we find out that they’ve broken-up for the second time.

Here’s everything we know about (what used to be?!?) their relationship…

October 2018: There were rumours that the Magic Mike actor and the singer were dating. Actually, the rumour began when someone on Twitter spotted them playing golf. 

Twitter user @MaurerPower172 writes, “Who knew a mini golf job could be so crazy. Tonight I had to watch one of my asshole ex professors make out with his fiancé, then my co-worker cut his hand open and had to go to the hospital, and finally Jessie J and Channing Tatum came in to play a round.” 

A source appears to confirm the exciting news to People, saying: “It’s very new.”

November 2018: Fast forward to November, things between the stars are starting to look Insta(story) official. Jessie J was spotted at the premier of the Magic Mike live show in London and couldn’t help but share a picture of (mostly) Channing and the dancers at the show. This move pretty much confirmed everyone’s suspicion.

November 2018: Channing made it Insta (grid) official when he wrote a sweet message to Jessie after her performance at the Royal Albert Hall. The actor wrote to his 17 million followers:

“This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow”

After these, the pair went into full hollywood couple mode and remained super private until…

March 2019: Jessie shared a screenshot of her dm with Channing – it was the sweetest message ever! He even wrote a rap verse for her. 

Turns out that Channing’s secret talent is not so secret anymore.

March 2019: Channing posts a beautiful birthday message to Jessie J. The actor shared a black and white photo of her with the caption: “Wishing you the happiest day filled with all the love and all the light. You came into this world on this day and lit it on fire. You have blessed our eyes, our ears, our hearts and our lives. So thank you for just being you. You are so very special. Happy birthday Baby.”

May 2019: Now they’re in full PDA mode. Jessie uploaded a picture on Instagram and Channing leaves a very thirsty comment under it.

June 2019: Jessie appeared on Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston’s show on Heart Breakfast, and when asked if she and Channing have already had the conversation about having a baby, she said: “No!”

She added: “We’re having a lovely time. And I’m very, very respectful of his situation and his [privacy].” She added: “Yeah. But he looks great naked in the shower!”

August 2019: The couple reportedly moved into a country mansion in Suffolk together, after spending more and more time over in the UK.

October 2019: Jessie blessed us with a picture of them. The singer captioned it: “Missing this cuddle machine”

December 2019: Us Weekly reported that the couple had gone their seperate ways. An insider told the magazine that “Channing and Jessie broke up about a month ago. They are still really close and still good friends.” 

January 2020: Channing and Jessie J were spotted shopping together at a high end store furniture store, according to reports.

January 2020: According to E! News, an insider shared that “the singer and actor are “fully back together”, weeks after they ended their relationship. The insider continued: “They took a few weeks apart but ultimately decided they really care about each other.”

26 January 2020: The pair confirmed the news by attending the pre-Grammy Awards party together and they looked more inlove than ever. 

February 2020: Jessie shared a video of her dancing with Evie, Channing’s daughter on Instagram. Captioning the video: “Scarf – 1, my turn – 4 lol, celery juice – 0, Evie – 100,” 

Jessie covered Everly’s face with a unicorn emoji as Tatum and ex Jenna Dewan have agreed that Evie would not be on any social media posts. 

April 2020: E! News reported that the actor and singer have broken up again. A source said that “they had tried to make it work but realised they were better off as friends”.
