The summer temps may be reaching upwards of 50-degrees every day, but there has been a downpour of rain in the Emirate of Dubai. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced earlier this week that low clouds will appear over the east coast and that rainfall was likely and, well, voila!Â
Whilst Downtown Dubai and Dubai Marina are yet to see any wet weather, workers based in Al Awir shared pictures on social media of their rainy offices. Strong winds were also reported.
The Emirate experienced freak weather back in March, when an electric storm took over the skies, but it is unusal to see rain in the UAE during summertime.
