This morning we all saw some thick fog descend onto UAE skies, which at times can cause issues when it comes to driving as it becomes harder for us to see clearer.Â

I’m sure we all struggled a bit when driving to work this morning, as the roads weren’t the clearest they have ever been.Â
As a result of the foggy and unclear skies, the National Meteorology Centre (NMC) issued a weather alert for UAE residents.Â
Earlier this morning, Abu Dhabi Police took to social media to inform drivers on the roads about speed limit reduction on key Abu Dhabi, Dubai roads for the safety of all motorists. The speed limits have gone back to the regular limit (but there is still some fog out there… so make sure you are careful)
The Ministry of Interior took to Twitter to offer instructions to follow when driving with foggy weather:Â

The weather will get humid by tonight and Monday morning, with a chance of fog and mist formation over some of the coastal and internal areas.Â
