If, like us, you still having quite stopped reeling over Pepsi bringing Now United to Dubai, then you may want to sit down for this…

The global F&B company has officially unveiled limited-edition can designs in celebration of the 49th UAE National Day. Created in the colours of the UAE flag, which represent bravery, hope and peace, the design also features embedded words that honour the multiculturalism of the nation. PepsiCo will light up the Burj Khalifa on National Day, so keep your eyes peeled on Cosmo’s Instagram to see the lightshow go down.

The brand is also partnering with Nefsy, a food app that you with an opportunity to give back to those in need, to launch its ‘Feed 49,000 families’ initiative where Pepsi will be donating 5,000 meals to families in the UAE.

How do you get involved? For a donation of Dhs50, which you can leave by visiting www.GoForFund.com, a food box containing essential items including rice, wheat, oil, sugar, salt, water and sanitiser, will be donated to less fortunate families who have been impacted by Covid-19. The initiative will support communities across the UAE via the Emirates Red Crescent throughout December.

“We have had a long and successful journey in the UAE and are delighted to launch this campaign and the limited-edition Pepsi cans celebrating the momentous occasion,” said Aamer Sheikh, PepsiCo, GM and President, MENA and Pakistan. “This is a moment of pride for all of us who have been part of this incredible journey, Dubai has been our home for almost five decades, and to light up the Burj Khalifa to showcase the strong spirit of togetherness that exists in the UAE is a feeling of the utmost honour.”
We love to see it!
