1. Get sustainable at ‘Fashion Innova’ workshop
Learn all things sustainable fashion at Capital College, Sharjah as they host a fashion-centric workshop, ‘Fashion Innova’ on Saturday, 7th November 2020, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Guests will discover the innovative ways of sustainable design and waste management from fashion professionals at the 90-minute workshop. And to top it off, attendees will get a participatory certificate from The London College of Arts!
2. FUEL HAPPENING at the W Dubai
November seems to be the perfect month to get in shape and just in time for Christmas. 3. Immerse yourself in art at ToDA
Calling all art fanatics! Experience art and culture in a innovative new way at the Theatre of Digital Art Souk Madinat Jumeirah. The multi-sensory, multi-media immersive exhibition is currently showing ‘From Money to Kandinsky’, so head down to Madinat for an art-history experience you won’t regret!
4. Drive into a fantasy world at VOX Cinemas
Vox are taking it old-school bringing a drive-in cinema to Mall of the Emirates. The experience is priced at Dhs180+ VAT per car and includes two movie tickets at Dhs45 each along with a generous food and drinks package of nachos, salt, caramel and cheese popcorn, M&M’s, two soft drinks and two water at Dhs45 each.
5. Get down to Dubai Design Week
This one’s for all the design lovers. Dubai Design Week is back from the 9th-11th of November. Dubai Design District will host a series of installations, outdoor exhibitions and workshops free for all guests.
6. Don’t miss out on the Swan Lake
Dubai opera is presenting Moscow City Ballet’s Swan Lake for a night you won’t forget. Tickets start from Dhs300 including a welcome house beverage.
7. A ride that’ll go down in industry
Cyclists get ready for a route like no other. For one morning only, bike owners are invited to cycle around two iconic routes in the heart of the city, while roads are closed to traffic for this occasssion. There will be a family route of 4k and general route of 14k so everyone is welcome to take part whether it’s just a big of fun or your weekly blast of exercise.
8. Go with the flow for health and wellbeing
If you’re a health finatic then the Flow Talks series is where it’s at this November. With a range of health experts sharing advice, tips and free sessions, Flow will offer digital discussions to create awareness around the importance of a fit and healthy lifestyle. The healthy eating and creative hub are also set to launch a new plant-based meal plan, offering 22-day and 30-day healthy vegan options.
9. Abu Dhabi Culinary Season
The annual six-week food festival, will take place from November 1 to December 15 – in its second year, Abu Dhabi Culinary Season will continue to elevate dining experiences throughout the capital through a diverse programme built on creative dishes, innovations by local chef talent, limited edition menus.
10. Get ready for a whole lot of food at Time Out Market Dubai
Calling all foodies – this one’s for you! The food and cultural market, Time Out Market, has revealed their selection of chefs and restaurateurs, joining the first Market to launch in the Middle East. The new Market will be located in Downtown’s Souk Al Bahar and is set to open to the public in 2021. We’ll take a Pickl burger and Brix’s truffle please!
