This is not a drill: Marvel’s first-ever Egyptian director Mohamed Diab Moon Knight has received eight Emmy nominations. The series stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy (ICYMI: she played the role of Marvel’s female Egyptian superhero.)
“Proud that Moon Knight has been nominated for eight Emmy Awards… for acting, photography, action, clothing, sound and soundtrack for the talented Hesham Nazih… Two years of my life as a lead director and executive producer have been crowned with success! Thank God,” wrote Mohamed Diab on Twitter.
