Though the news is quite surprising to most of us, Love Island is back with yet another Arab contestant.
28-year-old Layla Al Momani is one of the six Casa girls that has entered the famous dating show this year, along with the rest of the Casa Amor team which includes Sammy James, 27, Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, 25, Sanam Harrinanan, 24, Lydia Karakyriakou, 22, and Lynda Flix, 22.
While the Love Island girls moved to Casa Amor where they will meet six new boys, the bombshells entered the main villa to join the boys and the reaction is what we all expected.
More about Layla Al Momani from Love Island 2023
Layla is a brand managing director from Kingston, and in her confessional to viewers on Love Island she thinks that she’ll be a “standout Islander. Regardless of being amongst a group of girls, I’ll prove that I stand out. I like to find out lots about people, so I’ll definitely be the one to ask the weird questions.”
Her dating technique is being “overly confident” to “make people feel comfortable,” she says.

Fun fact as well: She dated Conor Maynard and revealed this when asked whether she’d ever dated anyone in the public eye. Adding to that she said, “my ex is a famous singer. He wrote a few songs about me since we broke up.”

Layla visited the UAE last year, Dubai and Abu Dhabi to be precise, and here are a few posts from her Instagram where we can see her enjoying her homeland with her family.
Now for people worrying who she would be luring, we might have a lead from what she said about the male contestants. Layla pretty much spoke about most of the male contestants but these were her exact words, “Ron! He’s cheeky and he’s like a lad. I really fancy Will, too. My type is Louis Theroux and he just gives that vibe. I also fancy Shaq, but he seems to be unavailable!”
Things might have gone forward with Will…
Looks like we’ll have to see on the next episode of the viral UK series (!!)
