Despite having previously competed in the Mrs World pageant, the UAE has yet to send a representative, though, in the year 2021, Debanjali Kamstra was the first ever Mrs UAE World beauty queen.
Polish beauty queen Karolina Bielawska won the title of Miss World 2021 at the previous pageant, becoming the second Polish beauty queen to win the title, which was held in Puerto Rico in March of last year. Apart from competitors from 98 nations, Khadija Omar, was also part of the pageant as she was the first hijabi contestant from Somalia to take part in a beauty pageant.

Here’s what you need to know about Miss World…
An international competition that has been held annually since 1951, which consists of talented young women from around the globe representing their countries, while also striving to win the beauty pageant crown for their country with their intelligence in answering questions on current events and social issues. Contestants must be between the ages of 17 and 27, single, without children, and citizens of the nation they are representing.
