How I Met Your Father season 2 is on its way! It’s good news all round, as lead actor Hilary Duff has now shared a behind-the-scenes update on when we can expect the series to be released.
To recap, season one of the long-anticipated follow-up to How I Met Your Mother stars Hilary Duff as Sophie who, like Ted in the original series, takes her son through the story of how she met his dad.
Sex and the City‘s Kim Cattrall also stars as the older Sophie, with the series now renewed for a 20-episode second season! Yep, a lot to look forward to.

When will How I Met Your Father season 2 be released?
OK, there’s no word on an exact release date just yet. However, Hilary Duff has shared a big hint in one behind-the-scenes photo from set.
Dropping a mirror selfie in costume as Sophie on Instagram, the actress wrote, “Hilary 🫶🏻’s Sophie’s fit today. Season 2 of #HIMYF coming sooooon!.”
So there you go: coming soon! Here’s hoping soon = very soon.
How to watch How I Met Your Father seasons 1 and 2 in the UAE
How I Met Your Father season one is available to watch on Disney+ in the UAE, with season two set to follow suit. You can nab yourself a Disney+ membership for Dhs29.99 a month or for Dhs298.99 a year.
So far, there are 10 episodes available to watch in season one, with a further 20 episodes dropping in season two. So that means there’s lots of great content to come! Plus, all nine seasons of the original How I Met Your Mother are also streaming on Disney+ now.
