I don’t know about you, but ever since the Harry Potter reunion aired on New Year’s Eve, our social media timelines (and thoughts) have been filled to the brim with the iconic Wizarding World – OG Harry Potter fans iykyk. From fangirling at Emma Watson and Rupert Grint’s sweet moment, to binge-watching the movies during Christmas, Potterheads are uniting once again.
Since we haven’t fully gotten over the 10 year anniversary yet, we’re happy to say that there’s new HP news on the block to get excited over!
Today, Uber Facts’ Twitter account revealed that the Harry Potter spell ‘Lumos’ can actually be activated IRL (with technology, but still, we’re basically wizards.) You can use your Siri on iPhone or voice-activated program on Android, all you have to do is say ‘Lumos’ out loud, and it’ll turn your flashlight on. Harry Potter fans know well enough that this spell in the movies is used to turn the wizards’ wands into a source of light.

So, same-same but different basically.
