Eid al-Fitr is finally here and the long-awaited break everyone’s been waiting for is right around the corner. The UAE announced its Eid AlFitr dates for both public and private sectors.
Here are the Eid Alfitr dates for public and private sectors…
On Thursday, April 21st, the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the dates for the private sector. This year, private sectors employees will enjoy their holiday from the 29th of Ramadan up until the 3rd of Shawwal. (AKA, your hols will start on Saturday, April 30th.)

Dates usually differ depending on the UAE’s moon-sighting committee.
Meanwhile, the public sector holidays dates have also been announced. Government employees will start their holiday from the 30th of April to the 6th of May. Employees will get back to work on the 9th of May.
