Although the UAE government is rolling out Covid vaccines, the Dubai Government’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTM) is still putting plans in place to stop the spread of coronavirus. DCTM has announced the suspension of live entertainment in bars and restaurants across Dubai. In order words, the good ‘ol live entertainment you enjoy during brunch has come to a halt. Starting today, January 21.
We’re not sure as to how long the suspension will last as no date has been announced, but the directive states that the suspension is in response to “an increase in the number of violations during entertainment activities in hotels and restaurants”.
The UAE government is still trying to keep the coronavirus cases low as they encourage residents and citizens to take the vaccine (that is free to all citizens and residents). We have taken the liberty to compile a list of all the places to get the Covid-19 vaccine in the country.
