The Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) has announced the 7th edition of its prestigious Awards Ceremony – and dazzling Red Carpet – set to take place on November 22, 2023 in Dubai. Held at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City – in collaboration with Dubai Festival City Mall, Sobha Realty, and 7 Production, and “X” – the highly anticipated event will be broadcasted, live, across 14 regional and global channels.

Hosted by Kris Fade & Noha Nabil, DIAFA 2023 will celebrate the award-winning contributions of beloved personalities from 18 countries across the globe – including the UAE, USA, UK, Algeria, India, Russia, Syria, Turkey, Kuwait, France, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Pakistan.
The Awards Show has consistently celebrated and honoured Arab and international figures who have enriched the arts, music, and business industries with their innovative spirit and unwavering enthusiasm. Additionally, DIAFA pays homage to distinguished individuals who have dedicated their lives and careers to the service of others – through their committed humanitarian efforts.
The leading lady of DIAFA’s 7th edition is none other than Faten Hamama, the iconic Egyptian actress who has stolen the hearts of audiences across the globe with her unparalleled talent, sweet charm, and everlasting grace. Dubbed “The Lady of the Arabic Screen,” Faten Hamama will be honoured all throughout the festival, which will celebrate her rich legacy that has redefined Arabic Cinema as we know it.

Sharing a few words regarding what we can expect at the prestigious DIAFA ceremony this year, Dr. Michel Daher (Founder and President of the BIAF, DIAFA & EMIGALA) declares, “For seven years in a row, we have successfully managed to connect art, culture, cinema, music, and business with people from different walks of life. We want our audiences to know that no matter where they belong, it is these cultural threads that bond us together for a larger purpose.”
In light of the tragic events currently unfolding in Palestine, DIAFA will contribute to the “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign by raising funds for Dubai Cares, a renowned Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiative. Utilizing its broad regional and global platform for good, the socially-conscious Awards Show aims to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Another announcement that DIAFA is pleased to make is its partnership with ITP Live, the leading 360 influencer marketing agency that consistently produces engaging content in collaboration with pioneering influencers and celebrities – both in the region and globally.
DIAFA 2023’s official sponsor is confirmed to be Sobha Reality, whose Managing Director Francis Alfred shared, “We, at Sobha Realty, are delighted to sponsor the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA).
