Anime is so in right now. Especially Naruto is an all time fave. We def recommend watching. So ofc it’s coming to Abu Dhabi. Celebrate one of the biggest Anime events in the UAE at Animenia Abu Dhabi. Five days for us to dive into the world of neo-Tokyo *Yay*.

Anime faves Naruto, Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan and most importantly Hello Kitty *OMG* will be there. Plus there will be lots of pretty and extraordinary costumes. And you can even take part in a Cosplay competition and win a fab price.

What to expect at the event

Live Entertainment: Acrobatic performances and Japanese shows are just a taste of the entertainment on offer at the festival. Don’t miss the performance of the famous and acclaimed J-Pop band Flow on Friday 25 October.

Gaming and Workshops: There will be a dedicated area for gaming *fun*. Including a VR zone, an Esports zone and Japanese-style arcade games. Design your own model car at the Tamiya station. And try your hand at one of the many creative workshops set up throughout the festival.

Retail and Street Food: Did someone say ramen? If not here, where else can you get the most authentic ramen? And of course there will be plenty of mochis available *just here for the food*.

Anime Directors, Manga artists and voice actors: What an array of talent you will meet at this spectacular festival. Get an autograph from the famous Yutaka Abe, who worked on the legendary anime Detective Conan, meet and talk to Ryo Horikawa, the iconic voice of Vegeta from Dragonball, and be prepared to meet many more talented people at Animenia.

Cosplay Completion: Cute costumes? Yes, please. There will be a Cosplay Competition where you can win prizes from a prize pool of over Dhs400,000. The judges will be none other than Yuegene Fay, Rian CYD, Naythero, SayoChuu and SabCosplay. In addition, you can expect two special guests, Reika from Japan and VEGA Cosplay from Saudi Arabia.
