On Saint Levant’s latest endeavour, his new Foundation 2048 is all about giving back to the community that made him (a true loverboy by Cosmo standards).
This breakthrough non-profit offers emerging Palestinian talent up to $5,000 with mentorship from all sorts of cool people in the industry.
What is 2048?
With a Nari, Nari, Nari mission to “reclaim the story of Palestinian creativity,” the hot initiative celebrates building a new path to lost art through community, looping in Palestinian talents from across the diaspora together for a truly cosmopolitan feel (pun intended).
2048’s biggest win so far has been founding Gaza’s first label, Manjam Records, featuring creatives like mastering engineer Marwan Samy and creative startup Studio Nojoum in its latest tracks. You can actually check them out here.
And one thing you can count on is Marwan’s fangirls showing up and showing out, with fan accounts taking center stage to hype up the Levant heartthrob over on TikTok.
What can we say? Hearts really do Teshtaaq.
Here’s how you can participate:

- You’re still included if you live in 1948 areas.
- Women alongside people from disadvantaged backgrounds, rural or under-resourced areas, or people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Selection happens in two rounds; once in early May and the next in the beginning of August – shoot your shot diva!
- Think low paperwork applications. Limited slots (only 40). High stakes (getting to participate in cool fireside chats and stuff).
