Spartan Middle East, the world’s leading obstacle course race (OCR) brand, is hosting an extraordinary Trifecta Weekend at the iconic Al Ain Zoo over the weekend on October 11th and 12th in 2025. This landmark event offers competitors the ultimate challenge, set against the spectacular and unique backdrop of one of the region’s most beloved wildlife parks. Yes, that means bragging rights for life because you casually raced on a field with elephants and giraffes.
The weekend will showcase all three of Spartan’s signature race formats, giving participants the opportunity to push their limits and earn the coveted Trifecta medal. Across the weekend, both open and competitive heats will be available for the Sprint, Beast, and Kids races, ensuring athletes of all levels can take part. The race line-up includes:
- The Sprint 5K: A 5km course featuring 20 of Spartan’s classic obstacles. Perfect for racers of all fitness levels, the Sprint offers a thrilling introduction to Spartan Race.
- The Super 10K: A more demanding 10km course with 25 obstacles that tests endurance, strength, and mental resolve.
- The Beast 21K: The ultimate test of grit, this formidable 21km race features 30 punishing obstacles designed to challenge even the most seasoned athletes.
- Kids 1-3K: An inclusive Kid’s Race for the next generation of Spartans, including a 1km course for ages 4-6, a 1.5km course for ages 7-9, and a 3km course for ages 9-14.
