From Coachella to the Olympics, events all around the world have been cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
And now, the latest happening to pull the plug on their 2020 plans is Sole DXB, the much-loved footwear festival that takes place every December in Dubai’s d3.
In a post shared to Instagram, the brand wrote, “we aren’t confident that we can deliver the experience you deserve.”
“”While the situation continues to improve on the ground in Dubai, the festival is a collective effort by our community around the world and we’re ready to wait till they can be a pat of it, too. We do not have a new date, but once we do, you’ll be the first to know,” the statement continues.
“Outside of being a space for self-expression, we know that the festival has been a platform for new ideas and creative aspirations. While this window closes temporarily, we are working on opening a door, and for those that have the headspace and opportunity to create, we will continue to work with you.
2021 can’t come soon enough…
