YouTube beauty sensation NikkieTutorials (real name Nikkie de Jager) has been robbed at gunpoint at her Netherlands home.

The make-up star took to Twitter to confirm that she had been burgled whilst at home with her boyfriend Dylan Drossaers.

She tweeted: “Earlier today one of my biggest nightmares became reality when we got robbed under gunpoint at our own home”, continuing “Dylan and myself got attacked by physically we are okay. Mentally it’s a whole other story”.

 

The Dutch police tweeted: “Just reported a robbery on a house in #Uden. The perpetrators threatened the residents with possibly a firearm and took and unknown loot from them. There are at least 3 perpetrators who fled in a beige passenger car towards the A50. One of the residents suffered superficial injuries”.

Nikkie has also posted the message on Instagram which says “I’m writing this message for now to let you know that we are “okay” and safe. Thank you for understand as I take the next couple of days to myself”.

There has been an outpouring of love from the beauty-YouTube community with Patrick Starr commenting “Omg I’m praying for you! Ilysm” and Nabela Noor writing “Oh my goodness. I am so thankful that you both are okay. Sending you so much love. I am so sorry. We are praying for you!”.

Farah Dhukai commented “I’m so happy you’re safe and ok! So sorry this happened! Sending you lots of [red heart emojis]”, and Sarah Tanno wrote “I’m so sorry Nikkie. I’m so happy you are ok. Thinking of you!”.
