In a surprising turn of events, Rihanna’s venture into the fashion world has come to a complete stop, as her luxury label under LVMH will close down effective immediately!  

This news comes only two years after the launch of Fenty Fashion House, with LVMH (which btw, is also home some really fancy brands like Dior and of course Louis Vuitton.)

Rihanna had just released her latest collection in November 2020, (it was a fire collection btw!) which included a very special collaboration with the Jordanian shoe designer Amina Muaddi.

But don’t worry, she will still be doing Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin. In fact LVMH will shift focus to Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, as well as her Savage x Fenty lingerie label (and I know how much we all love Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin… amirite?)

When the label was launched in 2019, Rihanna made history, being LVMH’s first fashion venture from scratch since Christian Lacroix in 1987.  Oh and Rihanna was also the first Black woman to head an original brand with LVMH when Fenty Fashion House launched – I mean, she is the literal definition of a QUEEN!

Sadly, I guess all good things must come to an end at some point, but at least we still have Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin! Â
