Here’s something I didn’t have on my 2026 bingo card: Miami Swim Week is officially coming to Dubai. And as someone who had the privilege of moderating a panel at SAND Dubai earlier this October, I can tell you firsthand that this isn’t just another fashion event. With over 80 regional and international brands – including Lisa Marie Fernandez, Bond-Eye, and La Revêche – the three-day B2B platform attracted major buyers from across the Gulf and wider Asia.

SAND Dubai just announced a landmark partnership with PARAISO Miami Swim Week, the world’s premier swimwear and resortwear platform, bringing their iconic October edition to Dubai in 2026. If you’re not familiar with PARAISO, let me catch you up. For over two decades, it’s been the platform that launches brands like Agua Bendita, VIX, SHAN, and Oséree onto the international stage. We’re talking thousands of visitors, dozens of runway shows, and an annual reach in the millions.

From October 8–11, 2026, Dubai will transform into a four-day immersive celebration of fashion, culture, and lifestyle. We’re talking runway presentations, curated pop-ups, wellness and beauty activations, and consumer-facing experiences. There will be a standalone trade-focused SAND edition from June 9–11, followed by SAND Dubai x PARAISO in October. It’s not just a milestone; it’s a movement that cements Dubai’s role as a global capital for resort fashion. This is a full cultural moment that’s about to reshape the global resortwear landscape.
