To support and empower every woman, American Eagle’s fashion brand Aerie has unveiled its first role model program in the region. And, giving voices to female voices with this exciting initiative are social media stars Ascia, Hadeel Marei, and Logina Salah. BRB, need to catch my breath.
Now, let’s get to know Aerie’s Role Models
When it comes to self-love, female empowerment, and breaking stereotypes – these women have been a powerful force. Starting off with Ascia, a Kuwaiti fashion blogger, model, and designer, has continued to raise awareness by using her platform to highlight the issues faced by Middle Eastern women.

Popular comedian Hadeel Marei has been making waves in a male-dominated field ever since her rise to fame and that’s only the beginning. She’s been a stern advocate for body positivity and has been quite open about her fight for an all-inclusive community.

If you already aren’t a fan of her, you’re soon going to be. The skin-positive influencer, vitiligo advocate, and People’s Choice Award nominee Logina is known for being an outspoken body-positive activist. “I’m so grateful to be joining @aeriemena as an #AerieREALMENA, Role Model,” said Logina.
“My aim is to educate the upcoming generation on the importance of self-love and self-acceptance and normalizing all types of body types, skin types, and accepting one another just for who we are. It all comes down to finding our purpose, rather than finding popularity.” Ugh, don’t we just love her to bits?

The recent program follows Aerie’s mission to empower every person to embrace their real and authentic selves and its first #AerieREAL campaign in 2014 that aimed to stop image retouching.
