Chances are you’ve heard of Mohammed AlKiswani following his fame on Love Is Blind Habibi.
The 38-year-old Senior Commercial Manager grew up in the UAE and recently found love in the pods with Safa Al Jaboori.
Now officially husband and wife, the pair were the only couple to make it to the alter at the end of the first series of the Middle Eastern spin-off of the romance show.
Since the show wrapped they have confirmed they are still together and are even planning a second wedding. We *love* love.
And if we couldn’t already get enough of the Arab king we are now even more of a fan as Mohammed has bravely shared on his mental health struggles. We stan a man who can be honest and open.
Whilst appearing on the Hikmat Wehbi Podcast with his wife, Mohammed shared that he has had “issues” that have “affected” him.
He also touched on how it can be tough to share as a man “especially in our society” as he added, “this topic is not something people are cool discussing.”
Hopeful that men will speak out more, Mohammed said: “To keep it short, I’ve been through some crazy stuff in my life that I never expected.
“This topic is really sensitive, especially in our society. It’s like, if you’re a guy, you feel it a lot. Sadly, this topic is still not something people are cool discussing.
“So, if you’re one of those people who thinks, ‘Just tough it out; you’re a man’ – that’s not okay.
“Seriously, you need to get help when you need it. I’ve had my own issues; it’s a long story.
“It got to the point where it was affecting me physically—I was really worn out. I even had symptoms like a heart attack, but in the end, thank God, I’m okay now.”
The couple’s first joint interview since Love Is Blind Habibi has gone down well with viewers praising the golden couple.
