Two of fashion and beauty’s biggest names joined forces for one of the most iconic collaborations in 2026.

Over the weekend, Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, partnered with celebrated couturier Gaurav Gupta at India Couture Week 2026, bringing together two brands renowned for pushing boundaries in design and beauty.

In a moment of creative synergy (we love to see it), the collaboration felt almost inevitable: a designer known for reworking Indian couture into something unmistakably his own and a beauty brand built on innovation and pushing boundaries.

Backstage, celebrity makeup artist and Huda Beauty’s lead artist Daniel Bauer directed the runway beauty looks, translating Gupta’s sculptural, future-facing couture into embellishments around the eyes, precise couture-inspired contouring, and a bold lip statement built around the brand’s new Liquid Matte Mousse.

Bauer has described the partnership as “bringing together two brands defined by precision and uncompromising quality.” With every look on the runway designed to reflect that same attention to detail, he continues, “I wanted to translate the intricate detailing of Gaurav Gupta’s couture collection and the long-lasting performance of Huda Beauty’s products into every makeup look across all our models.”

Two creative worlds on one runway

For Kattan, the collaboration felt like a natural fit. “Gaurav Gupta is a designer who’s really helped redefine what modern couture can look like. But what I love most is how emotional and empowering it feels,” she says.

The beauty mogul also spoke about her admiration for Gupta, who has built a brand that’s become globally recognisable, all while staying true to his vision and design.

“We’re both passionate about pushing artistic boundaries, celebrating creative individuality, and creating beauty that makes people feel something,” she adds. “It was one of those partnerships that just made sense. It’s a dream partnership.”

Guarav Gupta has echoed that sentiment. “Every couture collection begins with an emotion, and beauty is what completes that narrative,” he says. “Huda Beauty’s commitment to innovation and artistry resonates deeply with our philosophy of pushing creative boundaries while remaining authentic. This collaboration celebrates a new generation of brides who embrace confidence as their greatest expression of beauty.”

A big beauty moment for India

There is also a bigger story here about where the beauty industry is headed. The partnership reflects Huda Beauty’s continued investment in India as one of the most influential and fastest-growing beauty markets globally.

With this collaboration, it’s clear that instead of following convention, the modern bride is invited to lead with individuality, whether that means a couture-sharp eye or a matte lip built to last all day.

It’s a reminder that bridal makeup doesn’t have to mean playing it safe, and that some of the most memorable bridal looks are set to come from designers and brands willing to make a change.
