Guilt-Free Snacks You Can Binge On

There's something super comforting about staying in bed when the weather cools down, with your fave snack right up in your grill. Cut out the junk and opt for healthier options when you eat your heart out with these goodies:

1. Popcorn

Without crazy toppings and a ton of butter, popcorn is actually not that bad for you. For an added dash of flavour, get some truffle or olive oil and finish with herbs and Italian seasoning. 

2. Hummus and Veggie Sticks

Hummus is a good source of protein and comes in several flavours, from chickpea to edamame and our fave, beetroot! Chop some veggies to dip in and you're good to go! Here are some of our fave recipes.

3. Edamame

Edamame is probably one of the most addictive snacks ever. I can go through a bowl in no time. Buy it from the frozen aisle of your supermarket, steam, add some sea salt/ Himalayan rock salt and enjoy!

4. A Homemade Smoothie

If you're in the mood for ice cream, this is a way healthier substitute. 

Here's a quick recipe:
Blend fresh mango, strawberries, blueberries, Greek yogurt and some spinach (you won’t be able to taste the spinach, I promise). Add some ice for a frozen treat and you're good to go! 

5. Peanut Butter and Rice Crackers

Get any cracker (preferably a multigrain one), pile on a little bit of peanut butter and a few sliced bananas, sit back, relax and enjoy!

6. Banana Pancakes

For all those dessert fiends out there, this is for you!

Mash ripe bananas and mash them with a fork. Add vanilla extract, some egg and a dash of a sweetener, tapioca flour and mix well. Pour a couple of tablespoons at a time on a hot pan. When it bubbles, flip over  and enjoy.

7. Sweet Potato Fries
