Kindness, the act of being gentle, caring and helpful (you can thank Collin’s Dictionary for that cute little description) is something that many of us forget is free or exists to be honest – soz, but that had to be said.
But it seems that some beautiful souls still believe in it.
During my recent internet troll, I came across a Reddit (love that site man) article where a reader asked for some “cheat codes” for the game of life and, some of the answers are just beautiful.
Don’t believe me, read the responses below:
Because we’re care and like to help out and spread kindness where we can, we’ve shortlisted some ace “cheat codes”:
Don’t eat yellow snow. Just don’t.
If you hold the door open for someone and they don’t say thank you. Say “you’re welcome”, loud. They will either apologize or remember it the next time they think that all doors are automatic.
Always back up your phone. Don’t want to lose those beloved selfies or cat snaps, now do you?
If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. Negativity is not sexy or not cool.
As nice as you think referring to your waiters as “excuse me”, ask for their names. It makes a massive difference and, I’m pretty sure that their mothers didn’t go through hours of labour only to forget to name their child #justsaying.
People always tell you exactly what they want. Be it verbally or with body language. The key is to listen.
If you’re having a bad day, this picture of Kim Kardashian will make you feel better.
